Internet Marketing - Good Design is a Key Part in Building Online Trust

How much importance do you place on the design of your current online presence? Is it something you have put lots of thought and effort into and still do, or is it something you don't feel is overly important to your business?  'Good design' as mentioned in the title doesn't mean your sites need to win awards for their aesthetics, far from it, but they do need to project a professional, planned and coherent image - and most crucially not slip into actually being badly designed. With information based sites, bad design hurts you more than good design will help.  Below is an extra section about personal branding as an internet Marketer.
Crafting your personal brand correctly has a huge part to play in the success of your online marketing business.  A strong and authentic brand will allow you to differentiate yourself from the competition and deliver your message clearly to your target customers. To develop your brand always focus on what it is you do that adds real value, then make this the foundation that you build upon in order to show your customer base what it is that you stand for.  Always be relentlessly consistent with the way in which you apply your brand, make people believe in it - and trust in it.  If your brand is clear, distinctive, easy to comprehend, and shows a unique and compelling benefit to your target market you will find it easier to sell yourself, because your message will be uniform and powerful. So make sure you're the one who's emails they read, who's products and services they buy and have faith in, make your brand the one that promises value and delivers it.
Online consumer purchase behaviour is typically driven by four key points - security, privacy, quality of content and design. So design isimportant, or at the very least not getting design wrong is important.
So have a good look over your own online 'presence', is it consistent and considered? Are there others out there you think are doing things better than you? If so, what's stopping you from lifting the bar?
One of the most important skills in successfully managing the design element of your business is to be able to recognise when and where improvements can be made. And then making them. If you are perhaps starting to think this might be an area you have underestimated the importance of, keep an eye out for the release of The Internet Marketer's Design & Branding Bible early in the new year.

Article Marketing Strategy - The "Famous Quotations" - Article Template

Do you ever get tired of writing the same types of articles each month? Do you ever feel like you've written on your topic in every way that you possibly can and are just stumped for a new creative idea that will inspire you and get your excitement level back up again?  Anyone who has been doing article marketing for any length of time eventually ends up in this predicament.  The good news is that it's just a matter of turning your thinking around and throwing some unusual elements into your otherwise predictable routine.
I encourage you to give this article template a try-- I guarantee that it will shake up your familiar routine and stimulate your creativity. On top of that, it'll be fun!  I'm calling this the "Famous Quotations" article template. It involves doing a little research (the fun type!) into famous quotes from historical figures, sports personalities or any popular icon that you admire. Then you use those selected quotes and find a way to make them relevant to your field.  One of my favorite examples of this approach is "The Mark Twain Guide To Blogging" by Copyblogger. Now, I know what you're thinking--how do Mark Twain and blogging go together?
Well, that's the fun and creative part. The writer simply selected quotations from Mark Twain and then wrote a paragraph under each quote relating Mark Twain's quotes to blogging.  For example, the Twain quote "Great people make us feel we can become great" was used to advise bloggers to write with the needs of their readers in mind, with the intention of teaching them things that would improve their lives and make them better (or great).

Now, you've probably realized that the advise based on that quote could be tweaked to become appropriate to just about any topic, not just blogging. You see what I mean? Dig up some of your favorite quotes and then under each quote offer some advise related to the quote that would apply to your target market.
Alright, here are the steps for this template:
1 - Go to any site that offers quotes from famous people (just do a Google search for "famous quotes")
2 - Or, maybe you already have a personal hero or some favorite quotes already in mind. Do some research to find several quotes from that person that you can use in your article.  Another approach is to assemble quotes from different people who all have something in common (American Presidents, Olympic athletes, comedians, etc).   Look for quotes that convey ideals, advise, wisdom, or observations that can somehow be applied to your niche.
3 - Settle on 5 or so quotes to address in your article.
4 - Write a paragraph or so on how each quote relates to your niche.
5 - Don't forget to write an introductory paragraph that introduces your historical figure and why you think that he/she/ would have had great advise to offer to the people in your niche. For example, why would Helen Keller have made a wonderful small business owner? Why would Winston Churchill have made a great real estate agent?
6 - Include a short concluding paragraph to wrap things up.
7 - Write a title that couples the famous person's name with your topic:
The [famous person's name]'s Guide To [Your Subject]
Conclusion:
I know that this article template is a bit unusual, but that is why it is so inspiring. So often we get into the habit of thinking of our topic from one direction--it is like a breath of fresh air to totally turn your thinking upside down and approach your subject from an angle you've never considered before.  Here's another perk--As interesting as it is for you, so it will be for your readers. Imagine the attention your title will get when being viewed in a long list of articles on similar topics.  You can write on something unexpected and creative and still write on your niche. What do you say--will you try this? The Internet Marketing Highway

To me, I often think of Internet Marketing as a highway with many stores to view from my vehicle. My vehicle I have is my computer to get around. Having a Mac computer to me is like driving a Ferrari as long as I maintain her weekly. When I cruse the Internet highway I can see many stores from my vehicle, but I Need directions. So I stop at this huge place called Google's, and type in the destination I'm looking for, and presto I receive the information and relevant information on top of my request. Click and my Ferrari and I are off again, before I realized it I'm already there.  Wow this is great I think to myself, I'm on Google's Internet Highway, so my Ferrari and I can hitch a ride and be transported to millions of destinations if I choose. My curiosity gets the better of me and I decide to explore a little more. I again think to myself on how I could afford too own a business on Google's Highway, and what it would take to be on the main strip-(Page One). I realize if your business is to succeed on The Internet Marketing Highway you must be on it, or near it.
The Internet Marketing Highway are full of million's of vehicle's (people) in search of a product or service, and I don't want to have a business 200 miles off the Highway, meaning out in left field or mostly not in Google's top ten page rankings. Just imagine for a moment that there's no Internet, and your car is your only transportation. Your destination of the day is to find a business to get into too make a decent living. Well I think you would go to where the businesses are at, so you look in the yellow pages and find a Business District full of opportunities.

So off you go down the highway and get off at the Business District Exit and find yourself on a smaller highway that's called the Business District Highway. You are immediately overwhelmed by the amount of business to choose from, and you see your first sign that say's Great Income for Life Businesses. Looks good to me and you check it out. Their Presentation is excellent and sales people are so nice you decide to give this business a try. Most people searching on the Internet do exactly what I just demonstrated.  Our first intentions where too look at many opportunities and then decide. Great Income for Life Businesses sign is just like being #1 in Google's search engines. Your Website is your business, your life line too success and happiness, so don't let your business stray to far from The Internet Marketing Highway. No one will ever know you exist even if you have the greatest opportunity in the world. http://www.freehomebasedbusinessoppt.com Specializing in Free home based business and options.
